If you get the warning in Xcode you can double click it and it will open the "Images.xcassets" window, this was where I could drag and drop nothing. Seeing as apple would reject my app I had to reject my review and make a new build after I figured out how to add the icons. I do not know if this is relevant for other people than me, but I had a problem with adding the icons by doing drag and drop to Xcode.
